Also known as "The Hang-Man's Tree" this tree has stood for hundreds of years, & was used as a look out the Native American tribes in the area; either the Wampanoag or Pennacook.
The castle on Gibbit Hill in Groton, Ma. Built sometime in the early 1900's as a vacation home it later became a hospital. It was destroyed in a fire on July 4, 1930. Supposedly, caused by fireworks.

The home of Massachusetts Governor George S. Boutwell. (1818-1905) Gov Boutwell was Governor from 1851-1853. His house was built in 1851 and added to the National Register in 2005.
